He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Nixon and Lillie Steiner Nixon; and his siblings, Magdalene Sparkman and Frank "Bob" (Gertrude Nixon). He is survived by: his wife Barbara "Nana" Nixon; and his children, David, Terry Nixon, Frank Nixon, Melody and Mandy. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
