It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rolando Vargas Sr. (Lufkin, Texas), who passed away on May 11, 2019, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alejo Vargas and Graciela Vargas; his brother Manuel Vargas; and his brothers-in-law, Romelio Esparza Jr., Ruben Esparza and Julio Esparza.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Vargas of Lufkin; his children, Vanessa Vargas of Lufkin, Rolando Vargas Jr. of Lufkin and Felipe Romelio; his daughter-in-law Maritza Vargas of Lufkin; his daughter Chloe Starr Vargas of Lufkin; his granddaughters, Isabella "Stormie" Vargas of Lufkin and Hailey Solis of Lufkin; his goddaughters, Aimee Vargas and Aly Esparza of Lufkin; his siblings, Felipe Vargas and Rosa Vargas; his sister-in-law Linda Vargas; and his sisters, Veronica Alvarez, Yolanda Espinoza and Elizabeth Juarez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
