He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Floyd "R. F." and Vera "Trixie" Parish; his siblings, Sandra Miller and Curtis; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Parish.
He is survived by: his son Robert Bryan Parish; his wife Paula Yates Parish; his daughter Lana; his son-in-law Mark Hines; his granddaughters, Sara (Todd Baker) and Ashley (R. L. Lyles); his great grandchildren, Alise of Lufkin, Grace Richard of Lufkin, Anslee of Lufkin and Laney Lyles of Lufkin; his nieces and nephews, Pam Parish of Beaumont, Mike Parish of Bryan, Donald Parish of Lufkin and Loraine Miller; his sibling-in-law Pat; his friends, Joe Lee Smith of Broken Bow, Linda, Ernie Teske of Longview, Larry, Janice Nutt of Longview and Nell Mangus of Lufkin; and his caregivers, LaKeithia, Tyisha Tanner, Jenny Horton and Kim Thomas.
