He was predeceased by: his parents, Gervus Eaves and Ferrell Goins Eaves; his children, Tony Eaves, Jacqueline, Robert, Jr. and Toby; and his brother DeWayne Eaves.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Eaves of Hemphill; his children, Terry Eaves (Darlene) of Glenmora, Louisiana and Brannon Gonzalez (Robert); his brother Tommy Eaves (Wanda); and his grandchildren, Caitlin Bosby, Micheal Redd, Tiphani Pelley and Tancii Collins. He is also survived by three stepchildren, seven step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.
