With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Moy Dee Scarborough Jr. of Lufkin, Texas, who passed away on February 23, 2025 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Louise Scarborough of Lufkin and Moye Dee Scarborough Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Sofia Reyes Scarborough; his children, Seth (Kendall) of Diboll, Levi of Diboll, Lexi of Huntington and Dee Cator of Diboll; his stepchildren, Shawni (Justin) of Austin and Byron; his siblings, Vickie Benoit of Kilgore, Theresa Spears of Lufkin and Joshua (Ashley Richard) of Trinity; and his grandsons, Moy Dee Austin and Malakai. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ryan Chapel United Methodist Church (555 FM2497, Diboll, TX 75941). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
