She was predeceased by: her father Mickey Walker; and her son Justin Welch. She is survived by: her mother Carol Ann Walker; her sons, Cody (Kacie Welch) of Lufkin, Michael (Sarah Welch) of Lufkin and Joshua Ashe of Jasper; her grandsons, Joseph and Sylas Welch; and her siblings, Donna Sue Bledsoe, David Cooler Sr. and Rodney Cooley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shafer Funeral Home (600 N John Redditt Dr, Lufkin, TX 75904-0353). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Old Shiloh Cemetery (9690 Co Rd 3131, Mt Enterprise, TX 75681).
