She was predeceased by: her parents, Delvin Rains (Parrish) and L. C. Rains; and her sisters, Mary (Roy Williams), Deboraha (Charlie Murphy), Lisha "Shorti" (Forrest Hammock), Clara Oden and Linda Robertson.
She is survived by: her husband J. W. Watson; her sons, Jimmy Watson of Round Rock and Eric (Kim Watson); her grandchildren, Anna and James; her brother Luther; her siblings-in-law, Peggy Rains of Huntington and Craig Robertson of Thorsby, Alabama; and her close friend Joyce Vann. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carroway Funeral Home (2704 S John Redditt Dr, Lufkin, TX 75904). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
