She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Allen and Florence Allen (Ashby); and her siblings, Pat Sims, Mary Ellen Haley, Mildred Duncan, Doris Marshall, Lavern Hamilton, Billie Reed and Bobby Glen Allen.

She is survived by: her daughter Linda; her son-in-law Jim Wall of Lufkin; her granddaughter Jody Wall Choate of Lufkin; her great grandchild Kristyn (Justin Terry); her great great grandchild Tatum Terry (Peyton Terry); her sisters-in-law, Nita Sweat and Gwen Allen; and her close friends, Nelda Childress, Alma Jones, Dolores Behannon and Peggy Grimes. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.

Margie expressed her desire for no flowers. She believed in giving money to someone you know that may be in need of a meal, a bill paid, someplace to stay a night, or contributions to the Gann Cemetery Association.
