She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Catarino Perez Sr. and Maria Perez (Garcia); her son Eddie Ray Garrett; and her brothers, Hector Perez and Catarino Perez.
She is survived by: her daughter Teresa Ballenger; and her siblings, Jose, Antonio, Gilberto Perez, Maria Hendry and Sofia Jasso. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
