As we bid Laura farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Laura is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nolie Elizabeth (Cole) and Ellis Estes Kessinger; her husband Marshall Gerald Brock; and her stepson Jerry Brock. She is survived by: her son Robert; her daughter-in-law Dana Fenner of Diboll; her daughters, Beth Fenner Legg of Oakhurst, April (Roger Kilgore) and Linda Byers of Wells; and her daughter-in-law Dian Brock of Lufkin. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carroway Funeral Home (2704 S John Redditt Dr, Lufkin, TX 75904). A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Wallace Chapel Cemetery.
