With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joy Eagle of Lufkin, Texas, born in Center, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 24, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rachael Evelena (Wood) and Ottis Hutto; her husband Joe Gayle Eagle; her daughter Gaylyn Eagle Hubbard; and her brothers, Charles Douglas Hutto and Ottis Clifton Hutto.
She is survived by: her children, Jay Gardner Eagle (Tonia) of Lufkin and Becky Eagle of League City; her grandchildren, Misti Michelle Eagle of Onalaska, Joe Gardner Eagle of Lufkin, Jacey Grace Eagle of Lufkin, Christopher Chase Hubbard (Stefanie) of Frederick, Casey Kirkland Hubbard of Florida and James Maurice "Deuce" Hubbard II of Buckhead, Georgia; her great grandchildren, Logan Scott Eagle and Keirslyn Cameron Zugar; and her sister Mary Beth Hutto Wilson (Tom Ed) of Chandler, Arizona. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
