We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2025, at the age of 77, Jonnie Hill of Lufkin, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Jonnie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hellen Novak (Mudd) and Phillip John Novak; and her husband Richard Hill. She is survived by: her son Rick; her daughter-in-law Sophie Hill of Lufkin; her granddaughters, Rachel Hill of Houston and Reagan "Boo" Hill of Houston; and her sister Billie Sims of Montgomery.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel (2704 S John Redditt Dr, Lufkin, TX 75904). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
