Joan (Smith) Colvin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan (Smith) Colvin of Lufkin, Texas, born in Dubach, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 12, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Joan is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joan's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Warren Colvin, Sr. and Gloria Deane Newton Colvin; and her siblings, Susan Annette Colvin and Arthur Warren Colvin, Jr.. She is survived by: her brother Michael Dean Colvin.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carroway Funeral Home (2704 S John Redditt Dr, Lufkin, TX 75904).
