She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hardy Fredregill and Velma Lee Fredregill (Cheatham); her husband Eugene Mills; her son Johnny Mills; and her grandmother Faris.
She is survived by: her son Larry; her daughter-in-law Mary Ann Mills of Lufkin; her children, Gary "Skeeter" Mills of Lufkin and Nanette "Sissy"; her son-in-law Kelly Foster of Halifax, VA; and her grandchildren, Britton Mills of Lufkin, Bertran Grillette of Lufkin, Carrie Myers of Corpus Christi, Johnny Mills, Jr. (Shawna) of Lufkin, Emily Mills of Lufkin, Diane Rodriguez of Lufkin, Kayce Mills of Alabama, Gary Mills, Jr. of Lufkin and Angela Cope (Michael) of Halifax, VA. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shafer Funeral Home (600 N John Redditt Dr, Lufkin, TX 75904-0353). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at the McKindree Cemetery.
