He is survived by: his wife Pamela Kirkland of Lufkin; his daughter Alison; his son-in-law Kevin Thigpen of Pollok; his son Todd; his daughter-in-law Shawna Kirkland of Aurora, Colorado; his grandchildren, Abbee Thigpen of Pollok, Landon Thigpen of Pollok, Megan Simonds and Ian Marshall; his brother Grady, Jr.; his sister-in-law Mary Kirkland of Tomball; his sisters, Loretta Graybill of Lufkin and Lisa (Ray Modisett); and his close friend Stanley Temple. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives.
