He is survived by: his son James Anthony "Tony" Spears (Shara) of Keller; his grandchildren, Kevin Spears of Fairbanks, Alaska and Kara Holmes of Keller; his sisters, Malla Quay Moore of Lufkin and Kay Bowers (Ricky) of Lufkin; his nieces and nephews, Jimmy Hendricks (Stephanie) of Broaddus, Mike Jones of Lufkin, Kim Samford (Stacy) of South Carolina and Stephanie Dixon of Lufkin; and his aunt Doris Bell. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
