It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elvin Scarbrough (Lufkin, Texas), born in Pasadena, Texas, who passed away on August 16, 2018, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera Virginia (Squyres) and Guy S. Scarbrough; and his son-in-law Bobby Pennington. He is survived by: his wife Faye Scarbrough of Lufkin; his children, Cathy Dover (Gary) of Lufkin, Melissa Pennington of Hudson and Rusty McEachren of Thailand; his grandchildren, Andrew Dover, Audrey Kohler, Bobby Pennington III, Brittney Bates, Austin Dover and Katherine Pennington; his great grandchildren, Brooke Kohler and Kaylee Kohler; his brother Don Scarbrough of Anahuac; his sister-in-law Doris Scarbrough of Anahuac; his sister Janice Martin of Dayton; and his brother-in-law James Martin of Dayton. He is also survived by husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
