She was predeceased by: her parents, E. C. Waid Moore and Albert Ray Moore; and her husband Dr. Thomas B. Owen, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Owen (Susan) of College Station, John W. Owen (Martha) of Lufkin and Jean Owen East (Michael) of Lufkin; her grandchildren, Brent Owen (Lindsay) of Cypress, Col Jeffrey Owen (Veronica) of Wesley Chapel, Florida, Caralia Owen Bray (Richard) of Bryan, Emily Rabago (Tony) of Lufkin and Allison East of Houston; and her great grandchildren, Jackson Owen of Cypress, Andrew Owen of Cypress, Juliana Owen of Bryan, Waid Owen of Bryan, Jonathan Owen of Bryan, Kassidy Bray of Bryan, Shannon Bray of Bryan and Ainsley Rabago of Lufkin.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the PineCrest Retirement Community Chapel (1302 Tom Temple Dr, Lufkin, TX 75904). A reception was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
