He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Lee (Stanford) and Terry Winfield Dunman; his wife Doris Dunman (Hollingsworth); and his brother Wallace Eugene Dunman. He is survived by: his children, David Dunman, Jr. of Lufkin, Debra (Steve Thornton) and Deidre (Stephen Casper); his grandchildren, Shana Patrick (Stephanie), Joshua Adams (Courtney), Jason Ashworth (Christopher Casper), Damon (Chrissy Dunman), Emily Casper (Diana Dunman) and Amy (John Lancaster); his great grandchildren, Luke, Lillian, Isaac Adams, Dawson, Dallas, Davis Dunman and Corbin Ashworth; his caregiver Rosie McCoy; and his friend Gene Hayes. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel (2704 S John Redditt Dr, Lufkin, TX 75904). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
