In the sacred silence of farewell, Cloteal is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Cloteal's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Bevil and L. S. Owens; her husband Oscar Malone; and her son Joseph Bevil. She is survived by: her son Donald Bevil (Sophia); her granddaughters, Joneisha and Octavia Bevil; her great grandchildren, Kaiden and Lyric Bevil; and her brothers, Bill Wallace (Amy) and Roy Bevil (Cordelia). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Colonial Mortuary (1600 Sayers St, Lufkin, TX 75904). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Missionary Baptist Church (410 Scarborough St, Lufkin, TX 75904).
