She was predeceased by: her parents, George Robert Hackney and Jethro Mae Bass Hackney; and her siblings, Ella M. Thacker, Mathis Earl Hackney, Rockland Denorris Hackney and Kelvin Hackney.
She is survived by: her siblings, Robert Hackney, Larry Hackney of Alto, Gloria Hackney and Vanessa Hackney of Lufkin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
