He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe D. Alexander, Sr. and Rosie Lee Polk (Elijah Polk); his stepson Jonathan Carter; his granddaughter Jaci Carter; and his siblings, Joe Alexander, Jr., Lavon White, Nettie Mae Alexander, Annette Colter, Patricia Alexander and Maxine Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Alexander (Teal); his stepson Kusheon Davis; his daughter Jessica Mark; his grandsons, Raine Davis, Braden Carter and Kaden Hooper; and his siblings, Tommy Alexander (D'Andrea), Billy Alexander (Marie), Donald Alexander (Angela), Vannette Malone (Alfred) and Velma Alexander. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
