He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Phillips and Inez Phillips (Hayes). He is survived by: his brother Bill Phillips (Cathy) of Lucas, Texas.; and his children, Elizabeth and Clayton.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Thomas' memory to the Dallas Winds.
