He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Clarence Evans and LuV Evans (Anthony); and his siblings, Wayne Evans and Frances Pittman. He is survived by: his wife Julia Hammons; his sons, Scott Evans (Susan) of Katy, Kirk Evans (Allison) of Allen, Brent Evans (Jonna) of Sundown and Chad Evans (Tara) of Allen, Texas; his grandchildren, Megan, Corin, Rhett, Carter, Jack, Collin, Jimmie, Julia, Watson and Sara; and his cousins, Anthony, Don Allen, Carolynn, Pat, Judy and Linda.
Memorial contributions may be made in John's honor to St. Jude Catholic Church in Allen.
