He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Timothy Spence, Sr. and Videlia Ellen Spence; his stepmother Catherine Spence; and his brother Dennis Spence. He is survived by: his wife Mary Spence; his daughters, Emily Edwards (Chancy) and Holly Pierce (Henry); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Pierce, Carson Edwards, Kelsea Pierce, Callie Edwards and Kamryn Pierce; his siblings, Diana White, Tim Spence (Jan), Carol Peterson, Howard Spence (LeAnn) and Eddie Spence; his brother-in-law Larry Estes; and also Videlia Spence.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sanders Funeral Home (1420 Main St, Lubbock, TX 79401). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (2201 Broadway St, Lubbock, TX 79401).
