It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wilda Wisdom of Lubbock, Texas, who passed away on November 16, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Swanner and Verdy Swanner; her husband Fritz Wisdom; and her sister Agnes Swanner Edwards. She is survived by: her children, Dennis Wisdom (Denise) and Karen Dixon (Rex); her grandchildren, Deanna Dawson (Aaron), Daniel Wisdom (Laken), Marshall Dixon (Peyton) and Mandy Odom (Dustin); and her great grandchildren, Emie Dawson, Will Dawson, Joy Dawson, Jake Dawson, Oliver Wisdom, Taylor Wisdom, Bane Dixon, Remington Dixon and Saelor Odom.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial (6025 82nd St, Lubbock, TX 79424). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
For those wishing to honor her life through a charitable donation, she supported the Children's Home of Lubbock and the Sunset International Bible Institute.
