He is survived by: his brothers, George and Tommy; his daughter Traci Ellen; his former spouse Lovetta Faye Chiles; his child Teddy Drue; his wife Corky; his children, Trae Flesher, Scott Assiter (Shelley), Lori Assiter (Melton), Drue King (Danne), Bryan Fullingim (Trina), Mark Fullingim and Doug Fullingim (Sherri); his grandchildren, Lance Freeman, Haily Wells (Lair), Amanda Assiter, Luke Freeman, Austin Fullingim (Joanna), Courtney Kattner (Collin), Brittney Rasco (Brady), Aaron Klingensmith (Casey), Haley Fullingim, Lindsey Fullingim, Allison Fullingim and Riley Fullingim; and also, Bryan, Mark and Doug Fullingim (Ted). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Plainview - Kornerstone Funeral Directors (3605 SW 3rd, Plainview, TX 79072). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church - Petersburg (2001 Main St, Petersburg, TX 79250). A graveside service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park (15602 TX-493 Loop, Lubbock, TX 79423).
