She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Flores and Rita Rocha Flores. She is survived by: her husband Secundino C. Gomez; her daughters, Elva (Lorenzo Vega), Delia (Fernando Mendoza), Rosalinda Gonzales of Ft. Worth, Lulu Hernandez of Lubbock and Celia Gomez (Tracy Smith) of Lubbock; her siblings, Aureliano Rocha Flores of California, Clotilde Rocha Flores, Amparo Alvarez Rocha of Mexico and Lupe Rocha Flores of California; and her grandson Fernando Mendoza Jr.. She is also survived by Her family tree flourishes with seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Broadway Funeral Directors (1901 Broadway St, Lubbock, TX 79401). A rosary will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (102 N Avenue P, Lubbock, TX 79401).
