She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Shepard and Malissie Fannie Bush (Fowler); her husband Cliff Buckner; her granddaughter Crystal Herring; and her sister-in-law Karen Bush.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Lynn Herring (LaDonna) of Amarillo, Texas, Donna Herring Johnson of Shallowater and Edna Cockrell (Roger) of Justiceburg, Texas; her brothers, Joe Mac Bush (Marylin) of Littlefield and Tommy Bush of Littlefield, Texas; her grandchildren, Holly Barela, Russell Norris, Andrew Norris, Jimmy Atwater, Michael Herring, Dakota Herring, Dustin Herring and Blake Buckner Cockrell; and her friend June "Nanie" Allison of Lubbock, Texas.. She is also survived by her fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ellis Funeral Home (104 E Ave F, Muleshoe, TX 79347). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church - Muleshoe (220 W Ave E, Muleshoe, TX 79347). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Muleshoe Memorial Park (310 Main St #103, Muleshoe, TX 79347).
