He is survived by: his wife Penny Moyers; his children, Gregory Moyers, Jennifer Banks and Julie San Miguel; his children-in-law, Luis San Miguel II, D. J. Banks and Candace Moyers; his grandchildren, Schuyler Thetford, Bradlee Thetford, Luis San Miguel III, Dominic San Miguel, Levi Banks, Marissa Banks, Isaiah Banks, Elizabeth Acker, Tala Acker, Emily Scott, Bryan Scott, Bridget Scott, Ally Scott, Shelby Guerrero, Leala Lamm and Harley Thetford; his great grandchild Daxton Thetford; his sister Beatrice O'Neal; and his brother-in-law Ron O'Neal.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sanders Funeral Home (1420 Main St, Lubbock, TX 79401). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Monterey Baptist Church (3601 50th St, Lubbock, TX 79413). A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at the Peaceful Gardens (15602 TX-493 Loop, Lubbock, TX 79423).
