He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Sanchez, Sr. and Elena Sanchez, Sr.; and his grandson Lazarus Barrera. He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Julia Sanchez, Jessica Sanchez, Kassandra Sanchez, Isaiah Sanchez, Angelica Sanchez, Oscar Gallegos, Esteban Gallegos and Victor Gallegos; and his siblings, Emilio Ramos, Jesse Ramos, Josie Ramos, Louisa Trevino, Sylvia Rosales, Greg Sanchez and Ramiro Sanchez. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; numerous extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the House of Angels Funeral Home (1928 34th St, Lubbock, TX 79411). A rosary was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (1120 52nd St, Lubbock, TX 79412). A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at the Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park (15602 TX-493 Loop, Lubbock, TX 79423).
