He is survived by: his wife Linda May Short; his children, Marcie Jane Buck (Timothy) of Vero Beach, FL, Charles Ray Short (Robin) of Lubbock and Thomas Edward Short (Kelee) of Wolfforth; and his sister Lorene Kay Morris (Jesse Ray) of St. Francisville, LA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
