With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Pete Mojica of Lubbock, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Pete left this world on March 14, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Mojica and Andrea Mojica; his sons, Andy Mojica and Rene Aguilar; and his granddaughter Azalea Paige Mojica.
He is survived by: his wife Minerva Mojica of Lubbock; his children, Alex Mojica of Lubbock, Jesse Mojica of Lubbock, Ronnie Aguilar of Lubbock, Pete Mojica of Lubbock, Christopher Mojica of Lubbock, Sylvia Mojica Covarrubio of Lubbock, Laura Mojica Morales of Lubbock, Lisa Aguilar of Dallas and Mandi Flores of Lubbock; and his siblings, Antonio Mojica of Lubbock, Emilio Mojica of San Antonio, Teresa Navarrete of Lubbock and Josie Pena of Lubbock. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Broadway Funeral Directors (1901 Broadway St, Lubbock, TX 79401). A celebration of life was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
