We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2025, at the age of 86, Oleta Fay Hamby in Lubbock, Texas, born in Quanah, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Opal Butts and Marvin Butts. She is survived by: her daughter Loeta Mays; her son-in-law Keith Mays; her son Tony Hamby; her daughter-in-law Tamara Hamby; and her grandchildren, Suzanne Pals, Carissa Bleecker, Kathryn Crawford, Justin Hamby and LaKrisha Smith. She is also survived by ten great -grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Lubbock Cemetery (2011 E 31st St, Lubbock, TX 79404).

Memorial donations are suggested to First Baptist Church-Lubbock, 2201 Broadway St, Lubbock, TX 79401.
