She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Woodard and Juanell Allison Woodard; her son Bryan Babcock; and her brother Allen Woodard. She is survived by: her husband Billy Babcock; her children, Aaron Babcock (Mariah) and Katie Mitchell (Jered); her grandchildren, MaryAnn Mitchell, Hamilton Mitchell, Avey Mitchell, Lizzy Mitchell, Bransyn Babcock, Deuce Mitchell, Billie Mitchell, Murphy Mitchell, Everly Babcock and Atticus Babcock; and her great grandchild Jaxon Keith.
In lieu of flowers, Nelta requested donations to Women's Protective Service of Lubbock, Texas. Her family request donation be made in Nelta's name.
