He is survived by: his wife Guadalupe Martinez; and his children, Cecilia Martinez, Nehemias Martinez, Jr. (Rachel), Alfredo Martinez, Marcos Martinez (Cyndi) and Lupe Martinez.
A rosary was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church (3111 Erskine St, Lubbock, TX 79415). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
During his musical career he was interviewed by the Texas Tech University history department for his contributions to the West Texas Music industry.
