He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Lamkin and Anna Bell Lamkin (Patterson); his siblings, June McKinney, Joye Fenerty, Beth Walraven, Pete Lamkin, Harlon Lamkin, Lawrence Lamkin and Jan Killingsworth; his nephews, Marty Lamkin and Tommy Lamkin; his niece Cindy Lamkin; and his close friend Walter Abney.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Peggy Wyatt, Steve McKinney, Mark, Danny McKinney, Ramona Harwell, David Fenerty, Tracy Walraven, Lisa Smyth, Bret, Brian Lamkin, Tina Getter, Andy Lamkin and Kris Killingsworth; and his caregiver Paula Cummings. He is also survived by his cherished Chihuahua.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Agape Funeral Chapel (6625 19th St #103, Lubbock, TX 79407).
Monty loved animals so donations to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) would be appreciated.
