He is survived by: his children, Melquiades Flores Jr. (Latisha), Sylvia De Los Santos (Mario), Elena Duran (Arthur), Armando Flores, Cynthia Acevedo (Jody), Adam Rivera, Johnny Rivera and Alicia Janas; and his sister Margarita L. Barrera.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A rosary was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Guajardo Funeral Chapels (407 N University Ave, Lubbock, TX 79415). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church (3111 Erskine St, Lubbock, TX 79415). A burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at the Lubbock Cemetery (2011 E 31st St, Lubbock, TX 79404).
