Marvin McDaniel Obituary
Marvin Dewey McDaniel, 88, of Lubbock was born May 22, 1928 in Seagraves, Texas. He passed away peacefully with his family by his side on April 6, 2017. He worked as a control room operator for Southwestern Public Services (Xcel) for 34 years and he was known as the best domino player. Mac was a veteran of the U. S. Army. Those to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 65 years, Juanelle McDaniel; daughter, Shela Teter and husband Tracy of Lubbock; sons, Wes McDaniel of Midland, Tim McDaniel and wife Cindy of Lubbock; sister, Jerry Hooper of Hale Center; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Raymond and Bob McDaniel; and sister, Wyneth Howell.
