She is survived by: her sons, Guadalupe (Beviana), Paul (Carmen), Martin (Becky) and David (Julia); her siblings, Antonia Cerda, Janie Gomez (Joe), Alma Olivarez, Ricardo Martinez (Dominga) and Jesse Rodriguez; her grandchildren, Veve Padilla, Bernice Padilla, Joanne Padilla, Albert Padilla, Priscilla Gonzalez, Mikal Gonzalez, Alexandria Gonzalez, Raquel Avalos, Nikolas Gonzalez, Adam Gonzalez, Abraham Gonzalez, Amaris Gonzalez and Ayla Gonzalez; and her great grandchild Zain Compton.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Combest Family Funeral Home (2202 Broadway St, Lubbock, TX 79401). A rosary was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Philip Benizi Catholic Church (908 Avenue J, Shallowater, TX 79363). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lubbock Cemetery (2011 E 31st St, Lubbock, TX 79404).
