She is survived by: her husband Michael Claxton; her children, Melissa Parks (Randall), Melanie Kennedy (David) and Mickey Claxton (Alecia); her siblings, Sue Bogard and Jim Hodges; her grandchildren, Austin Parks (Courtney), Meranda Henry (Chris), Dalton Kennedy and Evelyn Claxton; and her great grandchildren, Rhett, Bodhi, Aurora, Aspen, Alice, Lilly and Julia. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Greenlawn Church of Christ (5701 19th St, Lubbock, TX 79407).
