She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Paul McGee, Sr. and Alice Jane Mandrell (McGee). She is survived by: her husband Charles Nelson; her children, Steven Nelson and Sherri Wells (Joe); her grandchildren, Shelton Nelson, Hunter Nelson (Marli), Dustin Wells (Kaileigh), Robby Ragland, Travis Edwards (Cassidy) and Shelby Nelson; her great grandchildren, Charlie Edwards and Sunnie Wells; and her siblings, Nancy Edge, Tammie McRee (Paul), Bobby McGee (Kim) and Chrystal Trevino. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel (920 Hwy 62-82, Wolfforth, TX 79382). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Wolfforth Cemetery (937 W 5th St, Wolfforth, TX 79382).
