He was predeceased by: his parents, Joy Lee and Anna Belle Martin (Hagle); his daughter Seretha Phillips; and his brother Johnnie Lynn Martin. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Nichols of Lubbock; his son Gary Martin (Stephanie) of Trophy Club, Texas; his brother Ronny Ray Martin (Pat) of Lubbock; and his grandchildren, Garrett Martin, Trevor Thomas and Skyler Thomas.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Combest Family Memorial Chapel (2210 Broadway, Lubbock, TX 79401). A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM at the Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery (15602 TX-493 Loop, Lubbock, TX 79423).
