He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude McLarty and Mazie Ouida McLarty (Walker); and his wife Gevene McLarty (Downs). He is survived by: his children, Randy, Cheryl McLarty of Bonham, Trena, Scott Simpson of Floydada, Harvey and Jeri McLarty of Lubbock; and his sisters, Booty Reed of Lubbock and Teri West of Lubbock. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
