She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Covert, Jr. and Bobby Fritts Covert; and her stepbrother Daniel D. Smith III. She is survived by: her husband Dwayne Bruce Blalack; her sons, Patrick Alden Blalack and Jonathan William Blalack; and her sisters, Dana Leidig (Mark) and Vicki Covert Buchanan.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial (6025 82nd St, Lubbock, TX 79424).
