With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karen Stratton of Lubbock, Texas, born in Prescott, Arizona, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 28, 2024 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nello Scott and Dorothy Scott (Bates); and her brother Gary. She is survived by: her husband Lorum H Stratton; her children, Scott Weldon Stratton (AnnaLisa), Lance L Stratton (Anna), Shelley Nettle (Steve) and LaRee Karren; her grandchildren, Alex (Zack), Cameron (Laura), Zachary (Emily), Tyler (Megan), Sydney (Calvin) and Parker; her siblings, Howard (Darlene) and Martha (Roger); and her sister-in-law Sally. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial (6025 82nd St, Lubbock, TX 79424). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
