Julio M. Gomez Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eduardo Gomez and Juvencia Gomez; his siblings, Ignacio, Santiago, Guadalupe, Juan, Narciso, Manuela and Ramona; and his son Guillermo Gomez (Willie).
He is survived by: his wife Maria Gomez; his children, Julio Gomez (Angela Gomez), Ivan Gomez (Erika Gomez) and Clara Rubio (Santos Rubio); his sisters, Sophia and Amalia; his grandchildren, Alexis Franco, Clayton Mireles, Sariah Gomez, Eduardo Vela, Lailah Gomez, Jeremiah Vela, Siennah Vela, Sara Hernandez, Victoria Hernandez and Kalix Gomez; and his great grandchildren, Nazeli Urias and Zailynn Franco. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Heritage Funeral Home of the BIG Bend (301 N Main St, Fort Stockton, TX 79735). A rosary was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A vigil service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Jospeh's Catholic Church (403 S Main St, Fort Stockton, TX 79735). A burial was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM at the Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery.
