She is survived by: her husband Charles Loyd Barnes Jr.; her children, Kelli Laine Kavanagh (Ian McDowell Kavanagh) and Jason William Barnes Hamzy (Lee Christine Hamzy); her grandchildren, Jennifer LeighAnn Collette, Brendan Finnian, Sylvie Kavanagh, Claire Evangelaine Kylan Kavanagh, Hannah Rose Elaine Hamzy, Joseph Forest Lennon Hamzy and Faith Ilana Marie Hamzy; her great grandchild Amelia Rivers Collette; and her treasureds, Australian Shepherds, Rose and Cannon.
A memorial service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Christian Church (2323 Broadway St, Lubbock, TX 79401).
