She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Mojica and Andrea Mojica; her daughter Alice Pena; her grandchildren, Daniel Jimenez Jr., Rosa Perez and Ida Perez; her great grandchildren, Joseph Jimenez, Alexander Donnie Benevides Jr. and Josephine Celeste McGregor; and her siblings, Petra Ojeda, Juana Pina, Mauricia Ponce, Julian Mojica Jr., Leon Mojica, Catarino Mojica and Pete Mojica.
She is survived by: her husband Aron Pena; her children, Aron Pena Jr., Frances Fuentes, Isabel Jimenez and Caroline Romo; and her siblings, Antonio Mojica, Emiliano Mojica and Teresa Navarette. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Guajardo Funeral Chapels (407 N University Ave, Lubbock, TX 79415). A rosary was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady Grace Catholic Church (3111 Erskine St, Lubbock, TX 79415).
