He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Holtman and Hattie Holtman; and his siblings, Earl, Monroe, Charles, Harold, Lucille, Rita Ann and Marilyn.
He is survived by: his wife Juanell Holtman; his children, Joyce Holland (Steve), Joe Wayne Holtman (Cheryl) and Jennifer Stegman (David); and his grandchildren, Jackson Merritt, Macy Merritt, Jagger Holtman (Bailey Estes), Nathan Holtman, Jake Holtman (Desiree), Cooper Stegman (Taylor Gonzalez), Hattie Stegman, Kristin King (Ryan) and Brandon Holland.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Idalou Friday (701 Main St, Idalou, TX 79329). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Vandelia Church of Christ (2002 60th St, Lubbock, TX 79412). A burial was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at the Ralls Cemetery.
